The Faculty Capacity Enhancement Workshop, organized by the Training Unit of Far Western University, began on 9th September 2024 at the university's Central Office. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Bhatt, Coordinator of the University Training Unit. Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Pant, Vice Chancellor of the University, was the chief guest.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Prof. Dr. Purna Bahadur Chand, Chairman of the Far Western University Service Commission, Prof. Yagya Raj Pathak, Registrar of the University, resource persons Prof. Dr. Basudev Kafle and Dr. Ganga Ram Gautam, along with deans from various faculties, members of the training unit and implementation committee, as well as participants from different campuses.
Dr. Madan Singh Deupa, a member of the University Training Unit, delivered the welcome address, and the chief guest, Prof. Hem Raj Pant, emphasized the significance of workshops in strengthening the capabilities of faculty members. The program was moderated by Assistant Professor Mr. Rajendra Prasad Joshi and supported by the University Grants Commission, Nepal.
